Main Line School Night discusses Aging Smarter

On April 2 Main Line School Night (MLSN) our largest provider of non-accredited adult education classes in Philadelphia’s Main Line and surrounding communities hosted a discussion on longevity and how to age smarter.

The evening included an event sponsor reception with drinks and hors d’oeuvres followed by a 90 minute talk, Q-and-A and panel discussion moderated by Stephanie Stahl from CBS “Health Watch”.

Guests enjoyed enlightenment by three experts from the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Medicine, Zeke Emanuel, PhD, University of Pennsylvania Provost and oncologist, Jason Karalawish, MD Co-Director of the Penn Memory Center and Ravi Parikh, MD, MPP associate director of the program in augmented and artificial Intelligence at the Penn Center for cancer innovation.

The discussion included aging to longevity and what people should know about “pinpoint” medicine.

In the end the  Main Line School Night’s (MLSN) mission to educate moves forward and the approximately $60,000 in proceeds raised will be used to support the MLSN’s learning and classes.
