St. Mary Magdalen celebrates ‘legacy of love’

On Saturday, April 6, approximately 600 family, St. Mary Magdalen (SMM) parishioners,  and friends attended the 2024 St. Mary Magdalen Legacy of Love gala to raise funds for the SMM School but also to give honor and tribute to St. Mary Magdalen’s pastor, the Rev. Monsignor Ralph Chieffo.

The gala was hosted at the Drexelbrook Catering and Event Center and included cocktails, dinner, dancing to music by Midnight Hour, a performance by the Fralinger String Band, a silent auction (with 200 items) but most importantly it was an opportunity to give tribute to Rev. Monsignor Ralph Chieffo for his dedication and service to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for almost a half century and at St. Mary Magdalen’s Parish for 24 years.
