Don Botch

Don Botch joined the Reading Eagle staff in 1984 as a reporter and subsequently filled various editing roles. He has been part of the features staff since the early '90s, editing the Weekend section, the Voices teen section and writing features. He follows the local music scene and writes frequently about Berks County bands. He is a graduate of Muhlenberg High School and Penn State.

The COVID Pandemic hit the theater crowd hard. From getting ready to put on a full week of Les Misérables at the Kimmel Center Campus to quiet concert tickets being sold to foot traffic around the city, the shutdown 2020 shutdown came as a shock to the business. Now, things are getting “back to normal,” but there still might be a few changes that will stick.
