Teens help Heritage residents keep up with tech

Tech-savvy students from Conestoga Christian School in Lancaster County recently helped residents of The Heritage of Green Hills in Cumru Township, Berks County, get the most out of their smartphones, tablets and computers.

The students, who have been learning the basics of coding throughout the year in teacher Kim Reinard’s computer classes, have grown up using these types of devices and were happy to offer tips and tech help to interested seniors at The Heritage.

The students also created visual graphics to support the seniors’ visual and auditory needs. The session was a key part of the students’ year-end project, which is the creation of a website dedicated to senior learning, including a section of questions and answers.
