The Mansion at Rosemont hosted The Matsiko World Orphan Choir on Friday, April 14 2023.
Members of the choir are from Liberia, and many of the children attend school and sponsor children in Liberia to attend school there, thanks to donors to the Matsiko program.
The mission of Matsiko World Orphan Choir is to use the unifying power of music to uplift every child, bring joy to all who listen, and to inspire generosity that provides a complete education for vulnerable children. A $40 monthly donation can provide basic educational needs for a child, pay full school tuition for K-12 students, and/or help provide tutoring and support at a Matsiko learning center, according to the program’s website www.matsiko.org
