Honor Flight Philadelphia to honor, thank veterans with community celebration

Non-profit invites public to free event June 15 at Saints Simon and Jude

Honor Flight Philadelphia is inviting to an opportunity to welcome home and thank veterans on June 15, 2024, at Saints Simon and Jude Church. The non-profit, all-volunteer organization will return home with more than 175 veterans from their day of honor and recognition in Washington, D.C.

There will be a demonstration by the United States Air Force Drill Team at 5 p.m. followed by the arrival of 175 veterans at 6 p.m. who served during World War II, The Korean and Vietnam wars. Meet the Phillie Phanatic, the Phillies Ball Girls, Swoop and the Eagles Cheerleaders. Enjoy food, face-painting, balloon artists and much more.

Honor Flight Philadelphia members invite  to join them on this great day, to thank the men and women who served during World War II, Korea and Vietnam upon their arrival as they walk the red carpet.
