NARBERTH — Narberth Borough staff, residents, visitors, and park enthusiasts hosted a dedication ceremony on May 4 for the newly acquired public open space at the corner of North Wynnewood Avenue and Wynnewood Road.

The space has officially been named Elm Grove Park, and “the Borough is pleased to provide this park as a public amenity for all to enjoy,” the town said on social media.

“Planning for the park is underway as part of the Master Park Planning process,” the borough said.

Borough officials are also seeking the public’s input for the town’s newest parks plan.

A brainstorming and programing public meeting will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on May 29, at Narberth Borough Hall, 100 Conway Avenue. Those interested can attend in person or can view online.

The borough is inviting all members of the community to participate in the master plan process, to create a new vision for Narberth Park, Station Circle/Town Square, and the newly acquired Elm Grove Park.

Participants in the meetings will be encouraged to share their ideas and participate in a brainstorming session for improvements to the parks. Future meetings are currently scheduled for Oct. 9, when the town will see a draft parks plan presentation, and on Nov. 7 for a final parks plan presentation.

Narberth Borough has retained Simone Collins Landscape Architecture to facilitate the master plan process. For more information on the project, contact project manager Anita Nardone at (610) 239-7601 or anardone@simoneocllins.com.
