LOWER MERION — A 51-year-old man was killed after the 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross he was driving crossed over the double yellow line on the 600 block of Conshohocken State Road in Gladwyne, and struck a 2012 GMC Terrain June 14 at 11 a.m.

According to police, the driver and only person in the Toyota suffered serious injuries and was transported to Lankenua Hospital by Narberth Ambulance. He was pronounced dead at 11:44 a.m.

The driver and only person in the GMC was described by police as a 75-year-old woman, who was transported to Lankenau Hospital and is in stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lower Merion Police Traffic Safety Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 610-649-1000.
