The 501 at Mattison Estate, 501 Mattison Ave., Ambler, Montgomery County, has announced that a seminar on healthy brain aging will be held on April 30, presented by Leah Barnes and Andrew Beltran, outreach coordinators from the Penn Memory Center.
As defined by the World Health Organization, healthy aging is “the process of developing and maintaining the functional ability that enables well-being in older age.”
However, healthy brain aging can be adversely impacted by conditions such as mild cognitive impairment, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
