It may be unconventional, but to celebrate National Pi Day, one of the most well-known mathematical constants, which is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, residents of the Heritage of Green Hills in Cumru Township, Berks County, had a blast, throwing whipped cream pies at team members Cheryl Anderson and Krystal Santos.

With a direct hit, pie in the face, residents enjoyed a pack of Lay’s potato chips.
In 2009, Congress officially declared March 14 National Pi Day.
