(BPT) – In honor of the return of the Little League(R) Softball and Baseball World Series this month, Positive Coaching Alliance(R) and Lance(R) – the Official Snack of Little League – have once again joined forces to bring you the Little League “Coach of the Year” Award to honor all of the ways that extraordinary Little League coaches help to nourish team spirit and fuel kids across America to be the best they can be, both on- and off-the-field.
Now, more than ever, it is important for coaches to demonstrate strong leadership, honorable sportsmanship, encouragement, and support for their players. Exhibiting these qualities both on- and off-the-field inspires kids to be the best they can during a game, while also giving them an opportunity to learn valuable life lessons.
After a record-breaking number of submissions, Positive Coaching Alliance and Lance have identified two individuals who exemplify and inspire winning both on- and off-the-field to honor as this year’s Coach of the Year.
