Radnor police reports: Counterfeit cash passed at grocery store

The latest crime reports available from Radnor Township police:

Retail theft: The staff at Wawa, 215 W. Lancaster Ave., reported a retail theft that occurred on Friday, May 3, about 12:50 a.m. Staff reported a male wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts, removed several items from the store without making payment.

Counterfeit money: On April 25, staff at Giant, 550 E. Lancaster Ave., reported that they received counterfeit money earlier in the week. The store employees told police that on April 23, a male wearing a gray hoodie and a black mask passed three counterfeit $50 bills in the store.  The male was seen on video leaving the store in a silver Chevrolet Malibu.

Retail theft: The manager of the 7Eleven, located at 301 E. Lancaster Ave., reported a retail theft had just occurred. The manager reported that a male dressed in all black clothing hid several items in his person and exited the store without making payment.

Theft: The owners of Ame Spa and Salon, 111 Waynewood Ave., reported the theft of flowers from the front of their store. The owners told police that since November 2023, approximately six to eight plants have been stolen from the front of their business.

Theft from vehicle: On April 23, a student from Cabrini University told police that two credit cards were stolen from their vehicle, parked on the second level of the parking garage. The victim only became aware of the theft after their credit card company contacted them about suspicious activity on their cards at a store in New Jersey.
