“The Golden Bachelor,” Gerry Turner, was very impressed by a poem last night called “I Just Hope I Don’t Vomit on Your Shoes.”

Joan wrote and recited the poem during a talent show group date on the third episode of the new season of the Bachelor spinoff that airs on Thursdays on ABC.

She earned a coveted rose from Turner, 72, a widower from Indiana.

But, Joan told Turner she had to leave the show and go home.

“My family needs me,” she said.

Joan said her daughter, who recently had a baby, needed her.

Some of the other woman cried upon learning that Joan would be leaving.

“My heart is breaking,” said Susan Noles, 66, who is from Aston Township, Delaware County.

Noles performed a karate demonstration in the talent show.

She is a wedding officiant with a business, Nuptials by Noles and is the ex-wife of MLB player Dickie Noles who was a pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies.

Last week, she jumped out of a cake with a confetti cannon.

Last night, two women did not receive roses: Christina and Edith.

The women remaining, in addition to Noles, are:

• April, 65, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, a therapist

• Ellen, 71, of Delray Beach, Florida, a retired teacher

• Faith, 60, of Benton City, Washington, a high school teacher

• Kathy, 70, of Austin, Texas, a retired educational consultant

• Leslie, 64, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, a fitness instructor

• Nancy, 60, of Alexandria, Virginia, a retired interior designer

• Sandra, 75, of Doraville, Georgia, a retired executive assistant

• Theresa, 69, of Shrewsbury, New Jersey, a financial services professional
