The Women’s Committee of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) hosted its annual fundraiser, the Holiday Boutique with the VIP shopping hour and the Preview Party held on Wednesday, November 29, and the shopping day held on Thursday, November 30.
Held at the Merion Cricket Club in Haverford, the opening night preview party, always a favorite was a sell-out with almost 600 attendees including the Children’s Hospital women’s committee members, sponsors, family, and friends.
Supporters enjoyed butlered hors d’oeuvres, a lavish buffet, cocktails, and a private shopping experience with over 25 vendors selling fashion, accessories, jewelry, unique home accessories, art, and collectibles.
The Women’s Committee was established in 1856 and is the oldest continuously operating hospital volunteer group in Pennsylvania.
In addition to this signature fundraiser, the women’s committee members are also active volunteers at the hospital.
Funds raised through the Holiday Boutique will be used for programs to further innovative research, provide new diagnostic tests, and support life-changing treatments for children.
