On Saturday November 18, the Women’s Auxiliary for the St. Edmond’s Home for Children hosted their 84th Annual Cup Day.
The Women’s Auxiliary for St. Edmond’s Home for Children was founded in 1917 and has helped care for children with profound physical, intellectual and medical disabilities.
The auxiliary donates their time to help raise funds in order to support the children, the staff along with maintenance for the home.
This year’s cup day was held at Overbrook Golf Club and included cocktails, dinner buffet and dancing.
Also on the agenda was acknowledging honoree Jane Young, for her lifetime of service to the auxiliary and St. Edmond’s Home since 1970.
Jane said: “I am honored and humbled to receive this honor. What a privilege it is to be a member of the auxiliary to be able to give time and effort to our St. Edmond’s children, God’s Angels. I know you feel that way and hope that you will give your support as well.”
A celebration was well deserved as the auxiliary continues to make a difference for the children!
