On Thursday, March 16 the Emergency Aid hosted its 15th Taste of the Main Line (ToML) to benefit the Emergency Aid of Pennsylvania Foundation. Close to 500 attendees enjoyed food samples and drinks at the Grand Atrium of the Radnor Financial Center in Radnor. Sponsors included Brandywine Realty Trust, ForeThought, M&T Bank, Fiduciary Trust, WSFS Bank, Mercer Advisors, Canvas Valley Forge, Click Canyon. Area restaurants on site included DePaul’s Table, Joey Chops, Marc Vetri’s Fiore Rosso, Jose Garces’ Amada, Savona, Autograph Brasserie, White Dog Cafe, Terrain, Rosalie, Lola’s Garden, Fleming’s, The Choice, At The Table to name a few.
“We are so extremely grateful to the Main Line’s most prestigious restaurants and brew pubs and to Maker’s Mark and Southern Glazer’s Prisoner Wines because in donating all the food and drink they dramatically reduced the costs of the event enabling The Emergency Aid to donate 100% of ToML’s proceeds directly into the Mentored Scholarships and Grants which improves the lives of local children and families,” said Alice Dagit, Emergency Aid board chair and Taste of the Main Line creator.
The Emergency Aid is headquartered in Wayne, and has been honored by Presidents, Governors, Ambassadors, and even Queen Elizabeth. For over 100 years the Emergency Aid has had thousands of local women give hours of volunteer time raising millions of dollars improve the lives of local women, children and families.
